Insurance, Deposit & Damage Policy

1. Insurance Coverage

Full or comprehensive rental insurance is not included in the rental price. The renter remains financially responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle during the rental period, subject to applicable law and any coverage confirmed in the rental agreement.

2. Refundable Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of 5,000 THB is required before the vehicle is released. It is returned after inspection, provided there is no new damage, missing equipment, fuel shortage, late-return charge, traffic fine, or other outstanding amount. The deposit is not the maximum limit of the renter’s liability.

3. Scratches & Minor Damage

The cost of any new scratch or minor damage may be deducted from the security deposit. If repair costs exceed the deposit, the renter pays the remaining balance.

4. Broken or Missing Parts

Broken, damaged, or missing parts are charged per the company’s replacement-parts price list. Labour, installation, towing, and other repair costs may also apply.

5. Renter’s Responsibility

The renter is fully responsible for damage, loss, claims, expenses, and third-party liability resulting from (including but not limited to):

• Careless, negligent, or reckless driving
• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance
• Driving by an unauthorized or unregistered person
• Driving without a valid licence or required legal documents
• Racing, off-road driving, towing, or illegal vehicle use
• Driving on prohibited, flooded, unsafe, or unsuitable roads
• Leaving the vehicle unlocked or failing to secure the keys
• Using the wrong fuel or ignoring warning lights
• Violating traffic laws or the terms of the rental agreement
• Providing false or incomplete information

Any applicable insurance may become invalid if the renter violates the law or this rental agreement.

6. Accidents & Incidents

The renter must contact us immediately after any accident, damage, theft, or incident — and must not leave the scene, admit liability, negotiate payment, or arrange repairs without authorization. A police report may be required. Failure to report promptly may make the renter fully responsible for all resulting costs.

7. Fuel Policy

The vehicle is delivered with fuel and must be returned at the same level. A shortfall is charged along with any refuelling service fee. No refund is given for excess fuel.

8. Late Return

Rental is calculated on a 24-hour basis. A late return is charged as one additional full rental day unless an extension is approved in advance.

9. Early Return

Unused rental days are non-refundable if the vehicle is returned before the agreed date.

10. Final Inspection & Payment

The vehicle is inspected on return. Any amount exceeding the security deposit must be paid by the renter. If damage cannot be assessed immediately, the deposit may be held temporarily until costs are confirmed.
